Joe, you were instrumental in the start-up of Alumi-Nex Mold Inc. Together we worked through the pros and cons of owning my own business. You took the fear factor out of the equation, so we could concentrate on the “how to” instead of the “should I”. Once a decision was made to move forward, we were able to develop the foundation for my business plan, which I used to launch Alumi-Nex. Over the years you been a trusted advisor and have provided me with support, especially with the process of thinking through and resolving issues, especially since I have grown the company internationally.

Joe,
Dealing with you and AVS was always a pleasure for me. The business model that you built remains unmatched in the New England CCTV/Access Control industry. To this day I praise your efforts to bridge the communications and education gap that lies between Installer and End User.
No one, and I mean no one has a President's Advisory Council. When they try to put something like that in place they fail to execute on the suggestions of the very customers invited to provide that special input. I always felt you listened and understood where the customer (lifeblood) was coming from. The empathy that you and AVS taught your employees to have for the customer is again missed with your competitors.
It was a pleasure doing business with you and AVS.
Best of luck to you Joe! (and Terri)

About twelve years ago the defense company I was working for was about to be downsized so I began networking for a career change. Someone told me I should go talk to Joe Clouatre, a successful business owner. Without having ever met me, Joe took the time to advise me of the challenges ahead and provided me with valuable guidance. After our meeting I remember feeling like I had just made a very valuable contact and a new best friend. About five years ago my friendship with Joe became a business relationship and I could see firsthand why he and his company were so successful. In my experience, it’s not often that you meet business owners who are leaders in their field and make such a positive impact on the lives they touch every day. Whether it’s listening intently to his customers needs, motivating people to perform beyond expectations, or coming up with new and exciting ideas all the time, Joe has what it takes to help make himself and others around him feel like winners.

Joe Clouatre is one of the most energetic, creative individuals I have ever met. His approach to business is that it must be fun if you’re going have lasting success.
We’ve all been to training seminars or worked with business consultants in our careers. Some provide useful information while others provide opportunity to catch up on your sleep. I have personally attended several workshops and larger corporate events presented by Joe Clouatre. His unique style, without exception will always hold your attention. And the information you will take away will be chock full of practical insights you will find yourself putting into practice immediately.
I’ll always remember when I first met Joe over 20 years ago. I was his client and I quickly learned that when he said, “Whatever it takes,” he wasn’t just delivering a cute slogan. This was his approach to customer service and it is his approach today in whatever project he is working on. Learning from Joe is guaranteed to be a fun, interesting and unique experience.
