Leadership can be a difficult topic to fully grasp in a meeting
environment. This highly interactive, “Showing rather than telling”
workshop explores leadership in a unique way. This workshop doesn’t just
describe adaptive leadership, it shows it in action. Participants get to
see how effective leaders adjust their style of action ands communication
to suit the situation. The classic movie “12 O’clock High “ is probably
the most influential movie used in management training. This surprising
fact is a consequence of the movie’s
remarkable portrayal of leadership styles. The workshop Leadership at 12
O'clock High uses the movie as a case study. Participants are challenged
to apply to their own
organizations and to themselves, the lessons learned from analysis of the
story and the personalities portrayed.
In the workshop, a considerable portion of the movie is shown in segments
pausing
between the segments for analysis. The cinementor division of the Right
Brian World Company LLC, has a license from the owner of the movie rights,
Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation, to exhibit the movie in this way.
