· We are talking about what we have to do to prosper, however one of the most important things we need to do is study “our customer’s businesses”. We need to understand how a down turn in the economy will affect their business and how we can help. This is a time to get out and get close to your customers. Especially those customers you might have taken for granted. Get close to your customers, because if you are not, your competition will be. · Remember that even your most loyal customers (sole source) during good times, will be forced into the bid process and be required to choose a company with the lowest price that meets their requirements and that might not be you. This also means that those untouchable dream accounts you have wanted for years will be forced out to bid and could be your opportunity to gain market share. In 1991 in the middle of a down turn in the economy, I joined Team AVS. I wasn’t concerned about the economy; I had a positive attitude and a new opportunity. I was determined to be successful; it just meant that I had to be creative!
We run into obstacles in business all the time. The down turn in the economy is just another one of them. It is not going to be the end of the world. We just need to be smart, creative and maintain a positive attitude.

IBP Supports the STAR 2008 Toy Drive In lieu of customary holiday gifts for clients, IBP decided to donate money to this great cause on behalf of their customers. IBP supported STAR in 2007 and thought they would give them a jump start for the 2008 drive!
Joe Clouatre and Cheryl Mawdsley of IBP are pictured here presenting a check to STAR for the 2008 Toy Drive. On December 21st, 2007 Star held its annual toy donation at Pace Head Start School, New Bedford , Ma. Snow lightly covered the ground and gave the real atmosphere of a White Christmas. This year Star serviced over 200 high risk, low-income children. For most of these children this would be the only Christmas they would receive. The day began at 9:00 as Star’s Santa; Dennis Lowes made his way to the first classroom only to be greeted by smiling faces and cheers from the children. As Santa passed out the toys you could see the sparkle in these children eyes as they open up their bag to find it full of toys. Some of the children even climbed into the bags to look at what they had received. When Santa left each classroom the children would hug and kiss him good-bye. Sometimes so many children surrounded Santa that you could hardly see him. I know Santa loved this! It sure made a difference in lives of kids who really needed it the most and Star wants to thank all the members who donated to Star’s toy drive and just let them know they made a different in these children that day. With toys and donations Star was able to service all the children this year. But then we have Star’s elves busy carrying bags and bags of toys from classroom to classroom |

Team Building Program at the F1 Racing Complex
F1 Racing Team BuildingOn June 7, 2007 Innovative Business Partners Inc. organized in an all day Team Building Program for 22 people at the F1 Racing complex. In addition to the racing program in the afternoon, IBP presented three different team building exercises as part of the morning program. The exercises were designed to improve communications, enhance listen skills, build trust and provide a fun learning experience. Photos
